"These nine seniors are amazing seniors, whether they are a junior college transfer or been with us four or five years, it's tough to see them go," said assistant coach Elora Passa. "We want to see them succeed so tonight was tough ending like this. Moving forward I know they are a strong leadership team and we have appreciated that so much this year."

Despite a back and forth 3rd set, the Trojans were able to take three in a row from the Comets Friday night (18-25, 21-25, 19-25).

In the first set of the evening, senior Madison McKinnon, had her 200th kill of the season.

Samantha Passa led the night in kills with 10, she also had 8 digs.

Andrea Majchrzak had herself an evening with a career high 9 kills. She also recorded 4 blocks and 2 digs.

Lindsey Nyhagen & Emily Condon both lead the team in digs, each with 13.

Nyhagen also had 19 assists followed by Noelle Erickson with 16.

The Comets will wrap up regular season NSAA play tomorrow, hosting the #6 Bellevue Bruins at 2:00pm in the Lewy Lee Fieldhouse.

"They [Bellevue] are a strong offensive team, so I think slowing down their offense is our biggest focus and establishing our block right away," commented Passa on facing the #6 Bruins tomorrow. "Our defense does a great job and we appreciate them keeping the ball alive and we just need our offense on the other hand to finish those plays."
