Mayville, N.D. - Mayville State University baseball and head coach Billy Tomblin have announced the newest group of Comets in their 2025 signing class. Mayville States' 33-man signing class is one of the biggest signing classes in Tomblin's 14 years on staff. 23 of the 33 signees come to Mayville State from North Dakota & Minnesota, with 19 being first year college student-athletes and 14 being transfers.

"Austin [Monson] & Cadyn [Schwabe] did a fantastic job putting this signing class together. They spent countless hours finding 'Comets', guys who have a desire to get better, play the game the Comet way, work hard on and off the field, and are truly interested in getting a degree." Tomblin said. "We are extremely fired up about these guys as we believe we are getting the right kind of young men here to get us back to were we need to be as a program."

The Comets will kick off their 2025 fall season away at Bismarck State for a double header on September 16th. They have two home games on the fall schedule, a double header against Dickinson State on September 20th and a single game against Valley City State on October 5th.
