Comets finish regular season at North Dakota State Tuesday

Mayville, N.D. – The Mayville State University baseball team travels to NCAA Division I North Dakota State University on Tuesday for the final game of the regular season. The first pitch is scheduled for 5:00 pm at Newman Field in Fargo.

The Comets enter the final game of the regular season with a 31-14 overall record and 20-8 in North Star play.
Mayville State will be the #2 seed in the upcoming NSAA Baseball Conference Tournament hosted by Valley City State starting on Friday, May 7th.
The Comets last weekend hosted Dickinson State for the final conference weekend of the season defeating the Blue Hawks in three-of-four games.

Ramsay Taliaferro has a 1.93 earned run average with 18.2 innings pitched, allowing 11 hits, four earned runs, five walks, and 13 strikeouts.
 
Matching up with the Bison:
The North Dakota State Bison enter the non-conference game with a 28-13 overall record and 14-9 in Summit League play.
The Bison won two-of-three games down in Lawrence, Kansas last weekend defeating the Jayhawks 5-3 in two games and dropping the middle game of the series 10-2.
