Mayville, N.D. - The Mayville State University Comets Men's Basketball team hosted the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers for game two of their two game series this Saturday.
A career high from
London Williams with 19 points and a season high of 14 points from
Nick Michaelson helped push the Comets to a 94-64 win over the Blazers.
Mayville State was off to a quite offense start Saturday, but managed to shoot 51% from the field, leading the Blazers 48-32.
In the first half, Michaelson was a perfect 7-7 from the field.
During the second half, it would be all Comets. Williams shined offensively putting up 13 points, going 6-8 from the field. He also snagged 5 defensive rebounds.
Every Comet that stepped on the court, scored at least 1 point. Overall, Mayville State was 51% from the floor and took the sweep over the Blazers to remain undefeated at home.
The Comets are currently 5-3 on the season and will host Trinity Bible on Tuesday, November 19th following the women's game which is set to tip off at 5:30pm.
