Bellevue, Neb. - Mayville State Comets Men's Basketball finished their regular season road schedule Saturday afternoon taking on the Bellevue Bruins. 

John White, Jr. would have a career high 28 points in the Comets 76-72 win over the Bruins.

1st Half:
- Comets start out on fire, scoring 13 in the first five minutes, holding the Bruins to just 2 points
- with 6:30 remaining, London Williams lays it in for Mayville State's largest lead of the night with 16
- It was all Comets, outscoring the Bruins 41-29
- White, Jr. led the team with 12 points in the first half; he also had 3 steals
- 7 different Comets score in the half

2nd Half:
- Comets struggle in the first 5 minutes and the Bruins cut their deficit to just 4
- Despite White, Jr. getting hot behind the arc, the Bruins manage to get within 2 
- With 3 seconds remaining, the Comets led by 3
- Artis Chapman would sink a free throw and seal the win for the Comets
- White, Jr. had 18 second half points

Mayville State will play their final regular season game on Friday February 21st as they host the Valley City State Vikings for senior night. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30pm.
