Mayville, N.D. - The Mayville State Comets Men's Basketball team hosted the Valley City State Vikings Friday night. For the last regular season game of the year, the team took time to honor their 6 seniors. 

Senior, J.J. White, Jr., would have another impressive game sinking 6 shots behind the arc and scoring 28 points to propel the Comets to a 100-66 victory over the Vikings. White, Jr. also joined the 1000 points club on Friday.

The NSAA postseason conference tournament pairings are out and the Comets at set as the No. 3 seed after going 9-6 in NSAA play.  They will kick off the quarterfinals by hosting No. 6 on Wednesday at 7:00pm.  

The winner of that game will head to the semifinal contests on Saturday, March 1 at Jamestown.

The six seniors recognized on Friday were Artis Chapman, London Williams, Tim Oldham, Steven Garza, Leo Castillo & J.J. White, Jr.
