November 13, 2012
Mayville, N.D. – Mayville State University was back home on Tuesday night to take on the Lions from Trinity Bible College. The Lions made the Comets earn every point as Mayville State finished the game with a 74-68 victory.

Mayville State was never able to get separation from the Lions as they made timely baskets to keep the game close. The game was tied only once and featured nine lead changes throughout.
Mayville State was led offensively by Austin Emerson and Matt Bauduin. Emerson came off the bench for the Comets and scored 16 points, dished out four assists, and totaled three rebounds. It was a good spark off the bench for the offense.

Bauduin also scored 16 points for Mayville State in the game. He finished the game with four rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block to go along with his points.

Next in the scoring column was Sam Hyman (picture). Hyman made his home court debut for Mayville State University after an injury kept him out of action early in the season. Hyman finished the game with 15 points, five rebounds, and two assists.

Steven Ivory Jr. was the fourth and final player to score in double figures as he scored 13 points. Ivory led the Comets on the glass as he pulled down eight rebounds for Mayville State.
