Jeff Larson, check out his answers to get to know Coach Larson a little better off the field, and to find out some interesting things about him you might not have known before.
1. What is the one thing you cannot resist?
Ice cream.
2. What is your greatest fear?
Not a lot of real fears, don't really care for spiders.
3. Where is your favorite place to be?
Anywhere talking football or traveling.
4. Where is the best place you've traveled to and why?
We have traveled to a lot of great places as a family, any one of those trips is the best place I have been.
5. What's the weirdest job you've ever had?
I was a weekday night park ranger for two state campgrounds one summer, there were a lot of interesting things that happened during that time.
6. What would you do (for a career) if you weren't doing this?
Something with travel or back on the farm.
7. Any favorite line from a movie?
"Never tell me the odds!" - Han Solo.
8. Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
I have snowboarded at 24 resorts in two countries.
9. What places have you lived in?
Aberdeen, SD; Salt Lake City, UT; Ogden, UT; Cheyenne, WY; Chadron, NE; Butte, MT; Spearfish, SD; and Mayville, ND.
10. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I enjoy travel, so learning other languages would be great.
11. What are 3 words you'd use to describe Mayville State University?
Personal, Proud, Affordable.
12. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
Invest for long term sustainability.
13. When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?
Spend time with my family or read.
14. If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring?
Survival knife, fire starter, water filter.
15. What's your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
I feel I am pretty broad with the things I like so it's hard to nail it down to one favorite. I would say anything that has a travel component to it, I like to just get out and go places even if it is just a drive around the county.
16. If your house was burning down, what is the one non-living thing you would save?
I would make sure everyone was safe, anything non-living is replaceable.
17. If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Breakfast, best and most important meal of the day.
18. What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
Dusting.
19. If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?
Buddy Ryan.
20. What is one absolute thing on your bucket list?
Drive the entire Pan-American Highway.
