Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 North Platte, Neb. – The Mayville State Baseball team outscored the Saints 38-12 over a four game series on Sunday and Monday to complete the sweep and start conference play 4-0.

The Mayville State Comets started the scoring in the first inning by scoring three runs on five hits capped off by a single from Villanueva that scored two runners.
The offense clicked in the second inning, as the Comets scored 11 runs on six errors. During the second inning Lundmark and LaRocque each had a double with RBIs and all six hits were from different players.
Presentation College would score runs in the second, third, and fifth inning to cut the lead to 14-5. Jessamine had a sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to extend the lead to 10 and win the game by the score of 15-5.

In game two, MSU started the scoring in the third inning with a six-run inning that was highlighted by a single from Villanueva single that scored two runs.
In the sixth inning, Senden hit his first home run of the season with a two run blast to give them an 8-0 lead.
The Comets pitching staff was good in game two allowing one hit, and striking out six batters over seven innings.

Presentation College started the scoring in game three of the series scoring one run in the bottom of the first inning.
The Comets would answer in the next frame scoring three runs on an RBI single from Marquez and a sacrifice fly from Senden.
Mayville State would add to the lead in the seventh inning on a single from LaRocque that score Hughes. In the ninth inning, PC would score two runs to cut the lead to one but DeCaro would come into relief and get Schusted to groundout with the tying run in scoring position.

Mayville State started the scoring in the final game of the series in the top of the first inning on a sacrifice fly to make it 1-0. MSU added a second run in the top of the second inning on a Boyle single.
The Comets scored six runs in the top of the third inning to create some separation from the Saints and the inning was highlighted by a LaRocque triple that scored two runs.
After PC scored one run in the bottom of the third inning, MSU would score two more runs on a Saint error that scored two runs.
MSU would score their last run of the game in the top of the sixth inning on a Villanueva single that scored Caleb Jamieson and the Comets would complete the sweep by a final of 11-4.
