"Defensively, we had a few miscues that we need to get cleaned up but it was still an improvement from Wednesday," added Tomblin. "On the mound we just need to be more aggressive pounding the zone and force opposing offenses to swing their way to runs; we had too many free ones today."
The Comets hit the road this Wednesday taking on the Jamestown Jimmies in a single game. First pitch has been moved up to 3pm.
