The Saints came back on their next drive with a 60 yard touchdown run from Hayden Zenner. Jackson opened the second quarter with his second touchdown, this time on a 7 yard run. Presentation came roaring back with a 1 yard Zenner touchdown and a 36 yard touchdown reception by Jerome Mayfield to tie the game at 20 at the half.
The Comets opened the scoring in the second half as
Marcus Tucker recovered a muffed punt in the end zone, and the Comets regained the lead 27-20. Once again, the Saints came right back with a Matthew James 14 yard TD catch. Jackson and Barron connected again from 9 yards out and the Comets surged ahead once more. Presentation would not go away, as another Zenner TD run made the score 34-33. Jackson then scores his fourth touchdown of the day, this time on a catch and run of 76 yards, and the Comets went into the 4th leading 39-34. However, Presentation had one more big play in them, as Cole Adams caught a pass over the middle and rumbled 35 yards for a touchdown to make the score 40-39. The Comets had one last chance at their 10 yard line with less than two minutes to play. They managed to drive all the way down to the Saints 21 yard line, but the drive stalled there and the Saints held on to win 40-39.
