The Mayville State University Comets softball team got a huge 19-1 win over Marian University on Tuesday in their second game of the day in Tucson, Arizona.

MSU, playing in its third straight day of competition during its spring trip, started out the day with a 14-4 loss to Lubbock Christian University before meeting up with Marian.

The Comets' 19 runs is the most scored in a game this season and improved their overall record to 2-10. MSU will continue play on March 17 when they take on the University of British Columbia and Missouri Valley College.
