Mayville State University stormed back from a late 5-0 deficit in the Comets' second game of the day on Thursday to defeat Missouri Valley College 7-5.

The Comets were trailing 5-0 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning before exlploding for a seven-run sixth inning to take the lead. MSU held Missouri Valley scoreless in the top of the seventh to secure the win.

MSU also played British Columbia earlier in the day in a competitive matchup but came up short in a 6-3 loss.
