The Mayville State University softball team continued Dakota Athletic Conference play on Monday, April 11 when they headed to Jamestown, ND and took on Jamestown College. The series continued on Wednesday, April 13 when the Comets once again traveled to Jamestown for a second double header. The Jimmies took this season's series taking three of the four games.
Game 1: Mayville State 2 – Jamestown College 3
The first game of the series went scoreless through seven innings. The eighth inning turned out to be the deciding inning of the game.

Katie Corbin both came up with a RBI to give Mayville State a 2-0 lead after the top of the inning. But Jamestown College answered right back in the second half of the inning. The Jimmies came up with three runs, which proved to be enough as they went on to win by a score of 3-2.
Game 2: Mayville State 5 – Jamestown College 9
Game two saw the scoring spread out much more. JC jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first. But Mayville State answered right back with three runs in the second and two more in the third to take a 5-3 lead. But from there the Jimmies took over. After Jamestown put up one run in the fourth, they scored four runs in the fifth to take the lead for good. They added one more assurance run in the sixth for a final score of 9-5.

Game 4: Jamestown College 4 – Mayville State 10
