Mayville State University Athletics

The Mayville State University Athletic Hall of Fame honors and preserves the memory of those athletes, teams, coaches and others who have contributed in a very outstanding and positive way to the promotion of Mayville State University athletic programs. Plaques representing each of Mayville State's Athletic Hall of Fame inductees are housed in the Hall of Fame located in Mayville State's Lewy Lee Fieldhouse.

The Athletic Hall of Fame Selection Committee meets each year between June 1 and June 15 to review nominations and select inductees who will be honored during Mayville State University Homecoming festivities the following fall.

When a nomination is received in the Office of Alumni Affairs, the nominee will be contacted and asked to complete a nominee data sheet that provides information to support the nomination. The quality of the selection process depends in part on the quality and amount of information provided to the selection committee. Nominations, supported by the nominee data sheet, received in the Office of Alumni Affairs prior to June 1 of any given year will be considered for induction at Homecoming festivities during that same year.

The Mayville State University Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame was established in May of 2010 with the intent and purpose of honoring and preserving the memory of those Mayville State alumni athletic coaches who have contributed in a very outstanding and positive way to the coaching profession. Plaques representing each of the Mayville State's Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame inductees will be honored in the Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame to be located in Mayville State's Lewy Lee Fieldhouse.
